  22. I know this has been posted in the past, but I just joined, and the 
  23. thread to the original was split off too far from the subject.

  25. anyway, I can't get win95 to recognize my USR V34+ ext. modem.  Ihave 
  26. downloaded the new .inf file file and placed it in the correct spot, yet 
  27. Winm95 still detects my modem as a Standard modem. any help out there?

  29. Also, I'm using the dialup capabilities of Win 95.  And for some reason, 
  30. when I try to dial out, my modem never does it on the first try. I get a 
  31. message about no response and try again, so I do and it works.  Any 
  32. suggestions?
