- I know this has been posted in the past, but I just joined, and the
- thread to the original was split off too far from the subject.
-
- anyway, I can't get win95 to recognize my USR V34+ ext. modem. Ihave
- downloaded the new .inf file file and placed it in the correct spot, yet
- Winm95 still detects my modem as a Standard modem. any help out there?
-
- Also, I'm using the dialup capabilities of Win 95. And for some reason,
- when I try to dial out, my modem never does it on the first try. I get a
- message about no response and try again, so I do and it works. Any
- suggestions?
-
- TIA
